Baby Safety
Parents need to learn about baby safety before the infant
is born. Get advice from the doctor, from baby books, and on the Internet.
Friends and family can be a great resource also.
Before the baby returns from the hospital, baby proof the home for
baby safety. Purchase electrical outlet covers, cabinet locks, and door
locks to keep infants out of dangerous places. Consultants are also
available to inspect the home, purchase everything necessary, and install
it. Including baby safety monitors.
Anything that the baby plays with should be inspected for baby safety.
Periodically inspect toys to make sure they are intact and safe. Also,
check recall lists frequently to make sure no baby furniture or toys
purchased are potentially harmful.
